I still think of Sr. Loretta and the good manners she taught me. I am extremely polite today, and my daughter, at 1 1/2 says thank you all the time.
Sr. Inky's shepherds pie, lasagna, and chocolate pudding still stick out in my mind as the best I ever had.
Even though I am not Catholic today, I am extremely grateful for the efforts of my parents, teachers, and the St. Mary's staff for the values and morals taught to me. Thank you.

Since I have been here in Moscow, I have presented my "Braille Demonstration" to each class. I usually ask the presiding teacher to have the children write a paragraph about this subject or what they have learned about it. One 4th grader wrote, "Blind people cannot use their eyes to see, but they "see" with their "hearts"!
